How to Calculate?

The TOEFL iBT total score is the sum of the scores you receive from the four sections (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing). Each section is scored from 0 to 30.

Reading and Listening You get an estimated score by entering the number of correct answers for each section. The value and scoring of questions in these sections may vary slightly depending on the overall difficulty of the test and ETS' adjustments.

Speaking and Writing The sections are scored directly on a 0-30 scale by more than one evaluator, based on specific criteria (content, language use, fluency, vocabulary, etc.). You must enter these scores directly.

This calculator estimates your score based on TOEFL iBT scoring guidelines. The number of correct answers to score conversions for Reading and Listening are approximate and may vary slightly from exam to exam and even from question set to question set. Your actual TOEFL iBT score is the final score listed on your official scorecard from ETS.
