This calculator calculates the number of bricks or blocks required for a given wall area, the volume of mortar, and the quantities of cement, sand, and water required for the mortar. Factors such as wall and brick/block dimensions, joint thicknesses, and wastage rates are taken into account. Standard options or custom inputs are available for mortar proportions.

Wall Area = Wall Length × Wall Height

1 Brick + Joint Area = (Brick Length + Horizontal Joint) × (Brick Height + Vertical Joint)

Number of Bricks Required = (Wall Area / 1 Brick + Joint Area) × (1 + Brick Waste Rate / 100)
