What is the Fiber Mixing Ratio?
Fiber blend ratio refers to the ratio of different types of fibers used in a textile product (yarn, fabric, etc.) to the total mass. This ratio is usually stated as a percentage (%). For example, a 60% Cotton / 40% Polyester blend indicates that 60% of the total fibers are cotton and 40% are polyester.
Blending different fibers is done to obtain combinations of properties that no single fiber can have. This has a direct impact on the performance, feel, cost and aesthetics of the product.

The percentage of each fiber in the mixture is found by dividing the amount of that fiber by the total amount of fiber and multiplying by 100.
